The Unsung Heroes of Ground Zero

Bretagne: The last known surviving 9/11 search dog, Bretagne worked at Ground Zero for 10 days. She passed away in 2016 at the age of 16, receiving a hero's farewell.Apollo: A German Shepherd who arrived at Ground Zero just 15 minutes after the attack. He nearly lost his life when he was engulfed by flames and falling debris, but survived to continue working.Trakr: A German Shepherd credited with finding the last survivor buried beneath the rubble of the World Trade Center.
